| Summer Season Finals Results + Schedule! |
2025-26 Summer Season Elimination Finals Results, and next week's GRAND FINALS schedule ! (Please refer to attached document).
**PLAYERS - All participating players last-night were qualified to play finals, and all match scores were correct.
**UMPIRES - Please ensure all NON-playing teams provide 2 Umpires next week, including the teams knocked-out this week. Thank you!
(..if team only provides 1 umpire next week, they WILL be required to umpire more frames, to make up for umpire not provided).
**PLAYERS AND UMPIRES - MUST ABIDE BY EDPL STANDARD DRESS-CODE! - refer to By-Law 4.5.
**REMINDER... NO board-shorts, NO trackies, NO thongs, NO scuffs, please don't try to register as an umpire if NOT in dress-code!
**POCKETS - Thank you again to Arthur Titus and staff at Pockets Moorabbin for everything lastnight, and the pizzas for players, umpires, & Execs, very much appreciated!
**GRAND FINALS - Winning teams' players will be awarded medals at the end of the night (after ALL matches have finished).
*Winning Team will receive a silver tray & pennant,
*Runner-up Team will receive a silver tray.
*Best 3 Players in each Division will receive an engraved tankard.

| Updated FINALS Scoresheet Divs 4 & 5 |
Here's the updated FINALS Scoresheet for Divisions 4 & 5.
The last round (round 5) on the Scoresheet has been adjusted, to alternate the player breaks between the home & away team players.
Div 4 & 5 Finals teams - MUST use THIS Scoresheet for Summer Finals!
The usual Divs 1,2,3 Scoresheet is ok to use for Finals, as breaks are even between both teams, so normal Div 1,2,3 Scoresheet can be used.
(we will have spare blank copies of all Divisions Scoresheets at Finals, so please ask at the Exec Desk if need).

There are some updates since the previous document was issued 2 weeks ago...

MATRIX Category Definitions & points values are based on the “new” player's achievements as at the starting date of EDPL Winter Season 2026.

| NO GAMBLING on EDPL matches or frames! |
It has been brought to our attention that some clubs and/or members are engaging in gambling/betting on EDPL matches and/or frames!
There is to be NO GAMBLING OR BETTING on EDPL matches or frames!
As per EDPL Constitution clauses 3.9 & 4.10...
Clause 3.9...
..."Member clubs are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any clubs who become aware of gambling activity by
clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the
Executive Committee immediately".
Clause 4.10...
..."Members are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any members who become aware of gambling activity by clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the Executive Committee immediately".
EDPL is issuing this reminder warning, so if another occurrence is brought to our attention... the club or player will be brought in for an EDPL Hearing. |
| 3 venues - matches start AT 7PM ! |
(apologies, typo in previous news item)
There are 3 pub venues where matches MUST START AT 7:00 PM!
* DORSET GARDENS HOTEL
* MITCHAM HOTEL
* MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL
MUST start at 7:00pm, as per venue management request.
Could you please ensure all players know, who play any matches at these 3 venues!
We highly recommend that ALL matches at ALL venues can start at 7pm, as per updated EDPL By-law 8.7...
"Matches shall commence NO LATER THAN 7:15PM [earlier starts, i.e. from 7.00pm are to be encouraged]."
