| Summer Grand Finals Results & Awards |
EDPL 2024-25 Summer Season Grand Finals were held this week on Tuesday 4th March.
Congratulation to all the Winning Teams, and well done to Runner-up Teams.
Congrats to the Best Players, 2nd Best Players, & 3rd Best Players in each Division!
Medals, Teams Awards, & Player Awards were presented at the end of Finals Matches by EDPL Executives (please see attached document).
Thank you to all teams & players who participated this Summer season!
Big thanks Alex Praeger & staff at "Rack-Em-Up Pool Hall & Bar" for hosting the finals, & for all your assistance, very much appreciated.
Also, thanks to John Treimanis & Ange Thompson for taking photos of teams & players.

| Amended 4th Div Points Cap Winter 2025 ! |
After discussion at the EDPL Delegates Meeting this week, & further consideration by the EDPL Executive & EDPL Points sub-committee, is has been agreed to amend the Winter 2025 – 4th Div Team Points Cap to 54 points, (..which is the same as what it was last Winter 2024).
Please see amended Winter Player Points Caps document attached, & this is also on the EDPL website.

| Combined Premier Division CLEARANCE info |
Combined Premier Division Notice for 2025 Winter and Beyond
Good morning to all the Premier Division players of the EDPL & DDPL,
After a meeting of the 2 leagues’ Executive committees, we have agreed that clearances will now be required as a formality between leagues, even if you play for an EDPL team and then you want to move across to a DDPL team ..
As an example, if you recently played for Manhattan Eightball Club for Winter 2024 and want to play for Green Tables Pool Club in winter 2025…
A. You must complete the clearance section on league rego form and have it signed as per normal by both clubs involved.
B. The person requesting the clearance must also be financial and have no outstanding debt to its current/previous club, so if you currently owe money to Manhattan Eightball club, the outstanding fees must be paid before Manhattan will approve the clearance to Green Tables.
The EDPL & DDPL Committees are unified with this decision and will not accept any registration requests from anyone still owing moneys to existing clubs.
We hope this makes sense to everyone and if it doesn’t, please contact someone from the combined league’s Executives.

| 2025 Membership Fees Restructuring Info |
Hi EDPL Members,
Please see attached letter re: 2025 Membership Fees Restructuring as discussed with club presidents at the meeting on Monday this week.
Please ensure all members are aware of this change….
• $50.00 EDPL Rego Fee per player - will be invoiced to clubs as per usual at the end of March, once club bulk rego lists have been processed.
• Pool Vic $10.00 and the AEBF portion ($15 or $35) - will be paid by members directly through the “Play HQ” app.
More information will be available on this shortly.

Here is the updated 2025 Winter Points Info Caps & Matrix Document, see attached.
Please note that some Matrix Category Definitions & points values have changed, & is now based on the “new” player's achievements as at the starting date of EDPL Winter Season 2025
The Major Tournaments list has also been updated.

There are 4 pub venues where matches MUST START AT 7PM!
* BAYSWATER HOTEL
* DORSET GARDENS HOTEL
* MITCHAM HOTEL
* MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL
MUST start at 7:00pm, as per venue management request.
Could you please ensure all players know, who play any matches at these 4 venues!
We highly recommend that ALL matches at ALL venues can start at 7pm, as per EDPL By-law 8.7...
"Matches shall commence prior to 7.30pm [earlier starts, i.e. from 7.00pm are to be encouraged]."
