Reminders…
* HOME Team is still required to enter match scores into the EDPL Website, BEFORE 10am on Wednesday after the match.
This particular requirement hasn’t changed !
* HOME Team is responsible for live-scoring on POOL STAT during the match.
* AWAY Team now to lodge official signed scoresheet.

MARK EATON - Rego # 7093 - 500 EDPL WINTER GAMES – 7/4/26
Congratulations MARK EATON - Rego # 7093 (Sandown-Potters) on playing his 500th EDPL Winter Season Game lastnight, 7/4/26.
MARK was presented with a 500 Games Jacket by EDPL Executive Committee member & Club-mate Don Weston.
Mark has effectively played for the “same club"
since he joined EDPL in 2003 with Burvale-Qclub,
the club then changed name & venue to Matthew Flinders
where Mark played 2004-2012;
and then became known as Sandown-Park 2013-2016,
and now currently known as Sandown-Potters since 2017.
WELL DONE MARK !

Thank you to those of you who "attended" the on-line PoolStat training session recently.
This Instruction Document has been emailed to all Club's Execs (along with team pins).
Please don't delay the start of matches, & scoresheets are still required as usual.

| 45-Seconds timing - Winter 2026 |
Please find attached By-Law changes relating to the new 45 Seconds timing method.
The 45 seconds timing was used during the recent Summer Season & finals,
& will be used this coming Winter Season too.
Please ensure all players are aware!
This document has been emailed to all Clubs' execs, & is also on the EDPL facebook page.

| 2026 Winter FIXTURES on website! |
The 2026 EDPL Winter Season FIXTURES are now LIVE on the EDPL website (for Divisions 1,2,3,4). Premier Div Fixtures will be available soon!
* 2nd, 3rd, 4th Division - Season starts next Tuesday 7th April
* Premier & 1st Division - Season starts on Tuesday 21st April
There are 3 changes to the fixture, since it was issued last week in excel format...
5/5 - changed 4th Div - 7 v 6
11/8 - changed 4th Div - 1 v 6
1/9 - TBC (either at Burvale or Whitehorse Club)
REMINDER - 4 venues to start matches BY 7PM!
(Dorset Gardens Hotel, Ferntree Gully Hotel, Mitcham Hotel, Mt.View Hotel)

There are 4 pub venues where Matches MUST START BY 7:00 PM!
* DORSET GARDENS HOTEL
* FERNTREE GULLY HOTEL (2 tables)
* MITCHAM HOTEL (2 tables)
* MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL
MUST start by 7:00pm, as per venue management request.
Could you please ensure all players know, who play any matches at these 4 venues!
We highly recommend that ALL matches at ALL venues can start at 7pm, as per updated EDPL By-law 8.7...
"Matches shall commence NO LATER THAN 7:15PM [earlier starts, i.e. from 7.00pm are to be encouraged]."

| Winter Scoresheets Updated on website! |
Updated Winter 2026 Scoresheets are now on the Website, in the "Documents + Forms" Section.
* Div 1+2 - Amended breaks in last round in match (round 5), both teams now with 4 breaks each.
* Div 3+4 - Amended breaks to home/away/home/away (alternating rounds).
Also enlarged "Playing Order-Break Charts" on the website too. (for Divs 1+2, and Divs 3+4). These are handy to see clearly who is playing next, & who is breaking.
DDPL is running "Combined DDPL/EDPL Premier Division" in 2026, so the DDPL Prems scoresheets is on the website. |

Here is the AMENDED 2026 Winter Points Info, Caps & Matrix Document (see attached).
There are some updates since the previous document was issued 2 weeks ago...
* Premier - Cap & points values
* 1st Div - "Forfeit" value
* 2nd Div - "Forfeit" value
* 4th Div - Cap & points values
* Australian Open Team points
MATRIX Category Definitions & points values are based on the “new” player's achievements as at the starting date of EDPL Winter Season 2026.

| NO GAMBLING on EDPL matches or frames! |
It has been brought to our attention that some clubs and/or members are engaging in gambling/betting on EDPL matches and/or frames!
There is to be NO GAMBLING OR BETTING on EDPL matches or frames!
As per EDPL Constitution clauses 3.9 & 4.10...
Clause 3.9...
..."Member clubs are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any clubs who become aware of gambling activity by
clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the
Executive Committee immediately".
Clause 4.10...
..."Members are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any members who become aware of gambling activity by clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the Executive Committee immediately".
EDPL is issuing this reminder warning, so if another occurrence is brought to our attention... the club or player will be brought in for an EDPL Hearing. |
