| 2026 Winter Points, Caps & Matrix Info |
Here is the updated 2026 Winter Points Info Caps (for Divs 1,2,3,4) & Matrix Document (see attached).
The EDPL Points Sub-Committee had a meeting lastnight to discuss and decide these points caps & values.
Please note... DDPL/EDPL Combined Premier Division Points Caps & Info will be issued shortly (DDPL & EDPL Execs are meeting soon to confirm)
MATRIX Category Definitions & points values are based on the “new” player's achievements as at the starting date of EDPL Winter Season 2026.

| 2026 Winter Teams - now due FRI 20TH FEB |
Hi EDPL Members,
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all!
As you know.. 2026 Winter Club/Team Applications were due to close on Monday 2nd February.
However, EDPL Execs have agreed to extend the teams closing date to FRIDAY 20TH FEBRUARY.
This will allow clubs a couple of extra weeks to discuss & decide their teams, division preferences etc.
(if clubs can still get their team application forms in well before the new closing date, if possible, that would be great!).
The Points sub-committee are meeting soon, to finalize 2026 Winter team points caps, & values (minimum, “new”, forfeit).
This message has also been emailed to all clubs' Executive Committees.

Just another reminder for these Venue changes coming up soon...
* DIV 2 - 13/1 - Manhattan vs. Sandown-Potters (1 v 8) - playing at WHITEHORSE CLUB (NOT Mulgrave)
* DIV 2 = 27/1 - Manhattan vs. Village (1 v 10) playing at WHITEHORSE CLUB (NOT Mulgrave)
* DIV 4 = 10/2 - Bayswater vs. Croydon-A (2 v 3) playing at RACK-EM-UP (NOT Burvale)
* DIV 5 = 17/2 - Croydon vs Manhattan (1 v 5) - playing at RACK-EM-UP (NOT Whitehorse)
Could the clubs/teams listed above please take note of these fixture venue changes, & ensure all their players know of alternative venue on the above dates, thank you! |
| NO GAMBLING on EDPL matches or frames! |
It has been brought to our attention that some clubs and/or members are engaging in gambling/betting on EDPL matches and/or frames!
There is to be NO GAMBLING OR BETTING on EDPL matches or frames!
As per EDPL Constitution clauses 3.9 & 4.10...
Clause 3.9...
..."Member clubs are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any clubs who become aware of gambling activity by
clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the
Executive Committee immediately".
Clause 4.10...
..."Members are not permitted, under any circumstances, to engage in gambling on any EDPL sanctioned matches. It is a condition of membership that any members who become aware of gambling activity by clubs, spectators or players, report such activity, in writing, to the Executive Committee immediately".
EDPL is issuing this reminder warning, so if another occurrence is brought to our attention... the club or player will be brought in for an EDPL Hearing. |

* Open to all players over the age of 18
* Buy-backs allowed if draw permits
* International Rules
1st Prize = $250 cash + $100 venue voucher
2nd Prize = $50 cash + $50 venue voucher
3rd & 4th = $30 venue voucher

| 2025 Hearings Info & Penalties ! |
EDPL has a Constitution and By-Laws, as well as 3 official “Policies”…
• “Violence & Aggression Policy” (VA)
• “Member Protection Policy” (MP)
• “Social Media Policy” (SM)
All of the above are available on the EDPL Website, and all members should be made aware of all information!
Last year, 2024, EDPL had the unfortunate task of conducting 8 Hearings, either “Delegates Tribunal Hearing” or “EDPL Executive Hearing”.
This year in 2025 there’s been an improvement, with EDPL only having to conduct 2 “Hearings”, however.. both Hearings were for official complaints made against the same member, for incidents 6 months apart!
EDPL also held an Exec Meeting with another member, to discuss a complaint that didn’t warrant a “Hearing” as such, but… required discussion & instruction on correct procedures.
We currently have a few Members who are on “Life Bans” from EDPL, as well as 3 members currently who we were unable to conduct Hearings for, but EDPL Exec have agreed NOT to accept their registration, indefinitely.
Please ensure all your club members (especially NEW members) are made aware of the seriousness of breaching any of the EDPL’s Constitution, By-Laws & Policies, and what the consequences are!
Please refer to the attached document, listing this year's Hearings.. date, breach, type of hearing, & penalty…

Div 5 on 17/2 is now a CROYDON "home" game, so amended to:
* DIV 5 - 17th Feb - now Croydon vs Manhattan (1 v 5) - playing at RACK-EM-UP (NOT Whitehorse)

The EDPL A.G.M was held lastnight, Monday 1st December...
Thank you to the members who attended.
The EDPL Executive Committee for 2026 is:

| 2025 AEBF/Pool Vic Affiliation Fees OWED |
Hi Club Execs,
2025 AEBF / POOL VIC AFFILIATION FEES OWED - VIA PlayHQ
This was discussed again at the Delegates meeting this week…
Reminder… any EDPL Member in Winter or Summer 2025 who still hasn’t paid their Affiliation Fees via PlayHQ, must pay by 31st December 2025.
• If a member played Winter 2025, and still owes Affiliation Fees, and if they don’t pay by 31st December, they can’t continue to play Summer after 31st December 2025, (IF they’re currently playing Summer), until their owed Affiliation Fees are paid for 2025 !
• OR… if still owe Affiliation Fees from Winter 2025, but NOT playing Summer Season, then they can’t play next Winter Season, until owed Fees are paid for 2025 !
• If they didn’t play Winter 2025, and have just joined up for this Summer 2025-26, then they also need to pay their 2025 Affiliation Fees before 31st December 2025.
• Also, if a member still owes their 2025 Affiliation Fees.. they can’t play in any Pool Victoria events and tournaments in 2026, Albury, state titles etc… until 2025 Fees owed are paid !
Please note… AEBF / Pool Vic Affiliation Fees are set annually, per calendar year (not per season), so members who paid in 2025 will need to renew their Affiliation for 2026 in the New Year via PlayHQ.
Please ensure all your club members are aware of these requirements listed above, as if Affiliation Fees aren’t paid… it could affect your players, teams, & Summer Finals Eligibility ! |

There are 3 pub venues where matches MUST START AT 7:00 PM!
* DORSET GARDENS HOTEL
* MITCHAM HOTEL
* MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL
MUST start at 7:00pm, as per venue management request.
Could you please ensure all players know, who play any matches at these 3 venues!
We highly recommend that ALL matches at ALL venues can start at 7pm, as per updated EDPL By-law 8.7...
"Matches shall commence NO LATER THAN 7:15PM [earlier starts, i.e. from 7.00pm are to be encouraged]."
